RISQS
is the UK rail industry’s largest supplier registration and qualification scheme. It is used extensively by procurement, engineering, safety and quality professionals in all sectors of the UK rail industry. Infrasafe is RISQS registered, scored and audit approved in a number of rail related disciplines.
The National Skills Academy for Rail
is an organisation established to enable the rail sector to deliver a modern and efficient, world class railway through the development of a highly skilled and productive workforce. NSAR’s National Network supports professional development and training throughout the UK. This includes Network Rail, National College for High Speed Rail, private providers, specialist centres and strategic partner FE Colleges and Universities. The network ensures there is access to quality professional development and training throughout the UK.
CIRAS
the confidential incident reporting and analysis system, operating since 1996 and today delivering assurance for member organisations across the UK. CIRAS offers a corporate safety net that ensures safety, health or other concerns are captured internally and with CIRAS’s help, investigated to a successful and satisfactory conclusion. For members staff, it offers an alternative truly independent confidential reporting line, that staff can speak to knowing their identify will never be shared.
