Track Inspection

Infrasafe can offer a complete railway maintenance solution. We provide a visual track inspection service which can include independent audits of Network Rail infrastructure, private sidings and train and maintenance depots and associated assets

We can conduct an independent audit of current inspection and maintenance in compliance with Network Rail Standards. A visual inspection of track and associated assets will be undertaken and all findings recorded in an independently produced inspection report, detailing the following: –

• Track location and reference as per system diagram
• Condition of track components and associated assets
• Recommendation of maintenance intervention limits
• All geometry reading taken
• Any exceedance from Network Rail Standards

We can also provide as standard a 4-weekly track patrol (pro-active maintenance) alongside a 6-monthly track engineers inspection. Some sites due to frequency and weight of rolling stock may require 2-weekly or even weekly track patrols. Following patrols and inspections, proposed maintenance and renewal programmes are produced. These programmes take into consideration condition and location of infrastructure and recommend corrective action according to priority and budget.
