IOSH Working Safely
Health & Safety Training
Course Outline:
Working Safely is a one-day course for staff from any sector with no supervisory or managerial responsibility. It provides a grounding in the essentials of health and safety – everyone at work should have an understanding of need to work safely.
Working Safely introduces a completely new approach to health and safety training offering all the basics in a high impact interactive package. The Working Safely course is accredited by IOSH—the Institution for Occupational Safety & Health. The
course is nationally recognised as providing good basic safety training for employees working ‘on the shop floor’.
Certification:
For delegates who attend the course and successfully complete the written and practical assessments, there is a choice of accreditation, either an IOSH Working Safely certificate or an IOSH passport card.
Course Content and Duration:
The Working Safely course lasts one day. We can offer places on open courses delivered in Railsafe Systems’ own modern Training Centre. We can also offer in-house training at your own premises.
There are five modules in the course:
Module 1 – Introducing working safely
Module 2 – Defining hazard and risk
Module 3 – Identifying common hazards
Module 4 - Improving safety performance
Module 5 – Protecting our environment
